iPhone Overhaul Concepts - Multitasking And Dashboard Widgets

A few weeks back, we wow'd you with a video by Swedish Design guys Ocean Observations which demonstrated a snazzy concept: Exposé for the iPhone. Well, after that they were happy with the reception their video recieved -- obviusly people were very excited about the expose, so were we! -- but now they are back at it, and they came out with some really fancy stuff!
They have made another 2 videos demonstrating concept apps, or "addons" for the iPhone. The brilliant ideas are Coverflow Multitasking, and Dashboard Widgets -- And let us say, you will not be disappointed!

This is certainly awesome, but is it possible to implement this without making it one of those "new shiny features" that everyone thinks is all nifty and all-that but after a while it gets old, and they either discontinue it, or we just all forget about it. Or maybe is this a solid, working feature that would make the iPhone more usable than it already is? Would it boost productivity, or slow it down?
