The 5 Best Apps for your Samsung Galaxy Tab

So you have a Galaxy Tab, what do you do now? You turn to T3ch H3lp’s resident Android expert on how to get the most out of your first Android Tablet, if you didn’t buy a JooJoo. And we hope you didn’t. The apps I will recommend have been tested and are currently in use by yours truly. Meaning, they will use the appropriate screen real estate and they are just more useful of the Galaxy Tab’s larger form factor. So with that, let’s get into it!

Unrelated - Parrot singing "Let the bodies hit the floor"

Damn nature, you awesome! Something that very rarely cracks me up is animals doing wierd stuff, but this is had me in stiches. One commenter on Youtube noted that “Poor bird probably can’t fly because he is so full of metal!!!” — so true!

First Look - Uncharted 3 Gameplay

Uncharted 2 was one of the decades most well received titles, and has stolen the hearts of adventurous gamers all over the world. Uncharted 3 looks to be up to par with it’s predecessor, and judging by the 2 minutes of gameplay will stick to the same, cinematic style as the previous title. We’re excited, thats all…

Demon's Souls servers extended until late 2011

Demon’s Souls is a game you throw controllers over — actually, no… let me rephrase that. It’s a game you throw consoles out windows over! It really take a certain kind of player to take the torture that Demon’s Souls calls gameplay, but it’s that same challenge that made it our game of the year winner in 2009. So it pleases us to report that Atlus is extending the game’s online servers until late 2011 instead of turning them off in March as they previously said. — Atlus’ Official word after the break!

Word Lens translates real world text through your iPhone's camera

This is completely awesome, and has taken the public by storm. Racking up half a million views on Youtube and climbing the charts on the App store, this App really takes things to a whole new level. Translating real-world text on the fly is pretty cool, but seeing it in real-time is even cooler! — It’s free in the app store, so download it today!

Nexus S Torn Down by iFixit, Crushes Contour Display Dreams

Been giving the Nexus S Contour Display some thought lately? Well, it’s finally been confirmed that the “curved display” actually means “curved piece of glass bonded to a normal SAMOLED display.” What’s cool is that there is no longer a capacitive digitizer as touch sensors are now part of the screen. The phone itself rates at a solid 7/10 repairability (10 is easiest to repair). This can be explained by a swapable battery and easily removable motherboard but an adhered front panel and screen fused glass. Check out a closeup shot of the display/glass after the break!

Infographic - How's the Apple app store doing?

Seriously, there’s nothing like reading an infographic to make boring stats seem interesting, and this one is no different. Though some of the data compiled in this image I find rather shocking. I mean, I would’ve never imagined the huge market that books takes up in the App Store - it just didn’t make sense to me. There are over 50,000 apps in the book section, which is astonishing figuring the major competition with Apple’s own iBooks app. — Check out the full imge after the break!
