Okay Geek Introduces Keyboard Shortcuts

When we introduced the “Continue Reading” section in the sidebar inside articles, people started to use it regularly. What was interesting was people were starting to use it to view articles in sequence, probably to see the articles we had posted that day. Well, we wanted to give you a much better way to do that.

iPad 2 outputs Real Racing HD game onto a big TV - Video

In many ways, Apple hasn’t really been on the cutting edge of gaming and they probably never will want to be, but it’s this kind of stuff that makes us wonder if game companies are paying attention to Apple. I mean, a tablet outputting 1080p gameplay on to a TV running buttery smooth? Witchcraft I tell you!

Flow could be the coolest task management software around

When you think of task management software, you probably think about two things. You think of dull business software that’s designed for lifeless cubicle dwellers, or half-baked useless iPhone apps that seem to make things more complicated instead of keeping you organized. LOL, OMG, FYI and more added to the Official Oxford English Dictionary

Realizing the importance of abbreviated internet terms in today’s culture, Oxford has decided to include some of the most popular in their official English dictionary. The terms which have been added are LOL, OMG, FTY, and ♥ (not <3, but the actual symbol) and they’ll be joining the previously added internet terms IMHO and BFF. Some may say this it’s crazy to add silly words and abbreviations into a dictionary only to represent the internet, and most people who actually use paper dictionaries will probably be a little confused — but the next time my parents see the term “IMHO” online, they’ll be able to open up a dictionary and discover what it means — it’s what dictionaries are for afterall right?

"Friday" if it were done by Lip Readers

Lip reading is a skill that could be attributed to being a gift. I mean it’s hard enough as it is to understand someone talking at a fast pace, but to read their lips and try to figure out what’s even being said is another. However, in the case of Rebecca Black’s “Friday”, lip readers came up with a more coherent version of the song than the original. One word: Gang Fight.

Firefox 4 blows over total Internet Explorer 9 downloads

On March 16th, the Windows Team boasted about Internet Explorer 9 and how 2.3 million people downloaded it in the first 24 hours. When you think about it it’s pretty awesome, and the IE team should be proud but shortly after, Mozilla launched Firefox 4. Now, we all know that everyone was really excited about Firefox 4, but nobody would have expected it to blow the doors off little ol’ Internet Explorer 9.
