Facebook now has @reply functionality, what next Twitter?

Facebook has always been the big friendly giant of the Social networking industry. It is still the #3 or 4 site on the internet and yet fails to continue to implement original features.

Twitter, on the other hand, is the little guy, and ever since little tweetie managed to bloat into the latest internet sensation, it caught facebooks eye. Facebook had only one option, smuther twitter, and it is starting to do just that. The new layout, facebook lite, and now this?

DIY Lego iPhone dock w/ Swivel

Posted a while ago on Gizmodo, one smart cookie of a guy decided to make himself an iPhone dock. But not just any dock. This one would be made of lego's.

Awhile back I had a couple of hours of build time (shocking but true) and a project that has been on my mind for some time was to create a nifty dock for my iPhone. As I began to create this little contraption I said to myself, “How could this be a bit cooler and more functional?” The answer was to make it a rotating dock so I could watch movies and apps in landscape mode.

Quite an interesting and fun idea indeed.

Anti-Piracy ad Makes you Want to Pirate

Don't Copy That 2, is the newest ad coming out of the anti-piracy industry

So remember kids, Don't Copy That or power Ranger styled rappers will come and send the SWAT team to pick on your mom and send you to jail. Great way to advertise anti-piracy views!

Outdated, kinda offensive, and embarrassingly unhip, the clip has a zero percent chance of achieving its goal of deterring illegal downloads on campus. One young person I shared it with said the video made him want to go pirate something, anything, out of spite.

                                                                           - Nick Summers of NewsWeek

What's funny is some of the material in the video was. I mean Klingon's? I also love that the character is burning CD's. Wouldn't it be more relevant to show him use some sort of P2P software or something of that nature?

Microsoft Windows 7 Upgrade can take 21 hours to finish

I know all of you are saying WTF is going on here!? This cant be real! Sadly it is.

According to the test results that Chris Hernandez, a Microsoft Software Engineer, posted on his blog, Redmond managed to get the Windows 7 upgrade time to be faster or equal within the five percent threshold to the Vista SP1 upgrade time. The results were this:

What this says is if you look closely at the time it took to upgrade a mid-end computer with the 32 bit OS by a Super User, it took almost a day!

When is the Squarespace iPhone app coming? Very soon...

I was looking at my twitter feed and I noticed that squarespace had a couple tweets, specificly saying that the app is on its way very soon. Now I am sure you are all very exited about Squarespace's new iPhone app, but it has been a while.

It's because of Apple and the app store approval proccess that the app has been "Coming soon" for such a long time, NOT Squarespaces fault.
