Japan Explains nuclear disaster with cartoon Nuclear Boy
Japan is known for it’s cutesy cartoons, and even during Japan’s greatest disaster this generation has seen, they still manage to pull the Japan cuteness off. This is Nuclear Boy, and admittedly, we’ve learned more from this cartoon than all the hype in the news outlets. Good work Japan, we’re still thinking about you!
WebComic of the Week - Looking for Group
“Before Lord of the Rings, before World of Warcraft… there were these guys. Their adventures aren’t pretty, but it’s there”, is the brief descrition that aptly sums up Looking for Group. Its author, Ryan Sohmers, and its artist, Lar DeSouza, who also work together on the popular humorous comic Least I Could Do, are a part of Blind Ferret Entertament, a grouping of well made comics. The other comics that are a part of Blind Ferret are fairly popular, but it seems to me that Looking For Group is slightly left out of the mega circle. Which begs the question, “why?” Seeing as fans all over think that the series highly deserves to be thrown in with the other big boys. — More after the break!
Kevin Rose leaves Digg - The story of why it happened
Long ago, in a land not to far from here, an episode of the Screen Savers aired. Kevin Rose decided to give viewers a look at a little experiment he had been working on for a while. It was simple, incomplete and lacked any sense of design, but the idea was there. It was a service that would change the web forever — this was Digg.com.

Okay Geek's iPad Garageband song - "Recurrence"
Here at Okay Geek, we love music and Garageband, so when Apple announced they would release Garageband for iPad, we just had to play with it. @itsbrandond spent about an hour putting the song together the day we got the app, and it was pretty damn easy. We highly reccomend you go grab Garageband for iPad, it’s $5 and that is an absolute steal in our book!
PC - Dragon Age 2 Review
Dragon Age: Origins was my favourite RPG of 2009 for good reason; A fascinating story with great characters, strategic combat and almost 100 or so hours of content, Origins captivated me from the start and held my attention right to its glorious end. Dragon Age 2 however, almost feels like a step backwards for the series, with a terrible opening, strange design decisions and needless streamlining of certain aspects of the game that were fantastic to begin with. But even though it isn’t the sequel Origins players were waiting for, it still succeeds at being a much more personal experience with more of the same exciting combat and character development fans have come to love. — Our review after the break!

What if Super Mario was an FPS?
Continuing with yesterday’s theme of “what if Super Mario”, today we look at FreddieW’s take on what if Super Mario Bros. wasn’t the beloved 2D sidescroller we all loved, but rather a 3D adventure in which we see through the eyes of the pudgy, Italian plumber himself. From what I see, someone needs to go ahead and make this happen for real.
