Google and HTC are working on a Chrome OS Tablet

Ever since the Apple tablet was thought up, every single hardware company has had tablet fever. I'll put a list of the ones we have covered below. Anyhoo, Smarthouse, an Australian publication, reports that HTC and Google have gotten together and have been collaborating "for the past 18 months" and have made "several working models of a touch tablet," including a prototype featuring Google's Chrome OS.

The interesting part is it seems HTC and Google have become quite the little team. Almost every upcoming HTC phone is going to run Android and just recently, they teamed up for the release of the Nexus One. Its looking like there could be some very interesting stuff coming from HTC and Google in the next coming months. Maybe by then it will be HTCgle...

Nintendo Dominates Amazon Sales in 2009

Amazon has this list, right? It's a list of what makes them money and they order it from the most profitable to the most dingy. As a gamer I know the strong influence Modern Warfare 2 had on the mainstream masses, but what I didn't expect was that the Wii - although being in it's 3rd yeard - is still raking in the dough like only the DS has done.

Amazon's Best Sellers in Video Games 2009:

1. Wii

2. Wii Remote

3. Wii Motion Plus

4. Wii Nunchuck controller

5. New Super Mario Bros. Wii

6. Wii Fit Plus w/ Balance Board

7. Wii Sports Resort

8. Wii Fit

9. Modern Warfare 2 (Xbox 360)

10. Mario Kart w/ Wii Wheel

Modern Warfare didn't even show up until the number 8 spot. Really? You would've thought everyone already had a Wii by now. But I guess people need two in their homes since they can't fit in all that Wii Sports Resort goodness into one console. I find it interesting, though, that Nintendo absolutely dominated everything; from games to accessories, it as all them. I can see why now they aren't all that focused on announcing a new system - not while they can still squeeze people out of every penny they own.

the Best Social networks you never knew about

Social networks keep us together, and allow us to share our info, creations and let people know what we are up to. We all use Twitter, Facebook, Myspace and so on and so forth, but what if there was a whole undiscovered world of this stuff. What if there was something, dare I say it, better than Facebook? What if their was something simpler than Twitter? What if they were right under your noses the whole time, and all you have to do is explore [...]

Video - HP "Create Amazing" commercial - tilt-shifts a smile

Updated: This commercial is very neat, and it makes us feel happy. The little people, cars and buildings are made to look like little toys using something called tilt-shifting which makes real life, look like a little toy city. The commercial takes us on a miniaturized tour through Shanghai, New York, Santorini, London, Istanbul, and some custom office sets built in L.A. It will tilt your heart strings and you will have a smile.

Update: The creator of the video wanted us take down the video for now, untill he can get things cleared up with HP and friends. Stay tuned!

Update 2: We found another copy of the video floating around on the interwebs. Enjoy!

Report: Apple expects to sell 10 Million tablets in first year

Whoa! Hold on a sec, I thought that Apple did not even say that the Tablet exists, nor they are going to sell it. Whats going on! Well, this little tidbit of info came from Lee Kai-fu, founding president of Google China until September 2009, who says in a blog post he heard the numbers from a "friend".

Now this is starting to get a bit weird. The first confirmation we get (from a trustable source) is a guy who worked at Google? Anyways, he went on to add that the Apple tablet will be launched this month at a sub-$1000 price point. Like we have heard time after time, Tablet this, Table that, but now this big mush of rumors and "breaking news" is starting to make sense.

Google does not just have a new Logo today (Jan 1st 2010), they have a secret goodie for everyone. They have done this before, but this is by far the most epic one yet! If you go to Google and click the "I'm feeling lucky" button without typing anything into the searchbox, you will get an explosive supprize! Happy new year!
