Crytek: "No, we do NOT have next-gen Xbox dev kit, nor do we know its release date"

Last week Videogamer.com reported that Crytek knew a little something something about Microsoft’s Xbox 360 successor. Well, apparently it wasn’t true, or at least was misquoted. And they didn’t even care to address the Timesplitters 4 title as a launch title newsbit. — More after the break!

You can now use images to Google Search

There have been so many instances where I have an image at my disposal, but I have no clue what it’s about. It may be a wierd animal, or an album cover for a song or even a gadget you just can’t identify. Now Google brings image search to us in a new way where we can drag and drop an image into our browser and Google finds results based on the image. Another smart move Google…

An early look at AlienBlue for Mac, a Reddit app

The popular Reddit client for the iOS devices, Alien Blue, is finally (and un-expectedly) coming to the Mac! Here you’ll find a full fledge native desktop client, which seems very familiar to it’s iOS counterparts, that will be avaiable for download from the Mac app store soon. If you haven’t tried Alien Blue (and we highly reccomend you do), its the unofficial app for the popular news, culture and social site, Reddit.com . The app did very well on the iOS App Store due to tight design, being able to create shortcuts to your own personal subreddits to cut down on the amount of time and pages you have to spend on the site to navigate — and even though it sounds great, how will the Mac app stand up to the iOS apps?

The worst and oddest moments of E3 2011 -- "Good job, Jeremy" (Video)

E3 is the spectacle of the gaming world year in and year out, but it doesn’t always go off without a hitch. At the end of each year there’s bound to be some sort of meme or inside joke within those who saw the conferences that inevitably make the event that much more memorable — no matter how awkward it they are to watch at time.

New Squarespace homepage design looks different, but amazing

Squarespace has been pumping out news like crazy for the past while, including really detailed information on the next release of their platform, Version 6. They are obviously wrapping up the details and making sure everything will fit together and launch without a hitch, but Squarespace is also re-vamping their own homepage and boy-oh-boy is it beautiful!

3.4GHz SSD iMac launching every app installed (26 seconds)

SSDs have been around for quite a while, but only in the last few years have they become common in household PC’s and Macs, and cheap enough to be a tech standard. SSDs are the new hot item when it comes to making your dream computer, and after watching this clip of an iMac launching all of it’s apps, it makes us want one so much more…

This happens every minute on the Internet

Decades ago, nobody thought the web would matter to anyone and it would never “take off”, so they called it a fad. Today, the Internet is arguably the biggest communication platform and houses the largest amount of accessible information in the history of mankind. The internet has changed the way people socialize, learn and entertain themselves — but do you realize how much happens in 60 seconds?
