Apple Retail Stores Now Blocking Jailbreakme.com
It seems people have been doing a bit too much jailbreaking in Apple Stores since the launch of jailbreakme.com. Allowing users to jailbreak their iDevices straight from mobile Safari, this little site has spread the unlocking craze to many Apple Stores. So the Cupertino based company decided to take a stand and just block the site in all of its official retail locations. In this video, clever user IT Geek quenches his thirst for jailbroken iPads by using his Nexus One as a hotspot. My question is, How did he even get a Nexus One into one of Apple’s sanctuaries anyways?

How technology got where it is today - Sacrifice
How technology got where it is today - Sacrifice
When you think of it, nothing in terms of “technology” would exist if it wasn’t for the “losers” that sacrificed sexy-time in the name of science. I mean, even though figuring out the deal between a ladies legs is every teenagers passion, some fall into the world of “geeks” and “basement dwellers”.
Bill Gates, Eric Schmidt and Zuckerberg probably had their fair share of time spent in their mom’s basements, and during their early days of “success” probably weren’t considered the hippest kids around. “So next time you want to poke fun at your resident nerd, remember that you’ll probably end up working for them one day” — Bill Gates

Apple might be planning to launch iOS 4 for iPad August 16th »
Not only that — but Apple may also be planning to launch a new iPod touch with a front facing camera along with iOS 4 for iPad August 16th, according to Portuguese blog MacMagazine. This isn’t surprising considering Apple has a past history of under-promising, and over delivering (in most cases), which is a good strategy obviously, but if these rumors surface as true, would the new iPod touch with a camera (and iOS 4) dramatically hurt the sales of the iPhone 4?
Gadget Porn - Beautiful photos of your favorite gadgets from Flickr
I was making the rounds on Flickr this afternoon while watching TV (which sucks these days), and I came across this interesting photo of an iPod nano in a shoe. I felt a wave of intriuge roll through me, and I decided to do a search for “iPod depth of field” (because depth of field is always pretty right?) and I was greeted by a wall of excellent photos, which made something click in my brain. — If these photos can bring me such joy, why are they hidden away on Flickr? I decided to share some of my favorite’s with you, and I’m sure you will approve.
Guy with a Rubik's Cube Head - Nightmare Fuel
Yeah, if you saw the image above and decided to click through to this article, be prepared to watch a freaky as hell (but creative) commercial for juice. Not only does this guy have a Rubik’s cube for a head, but he also has a FRIGGING RUBIK’S CUBE HEAD. I don’t know whether to call this video the most awesome thing ever, or cry in a corner…

Hate your boss? Put child porn on his computer »
This is the upsetting story of a twisted employee planting child porn on his bosses computer to once and for all, get his boss fired. Little did he realize that the scheme would ruin the bosses life, and turn his family and loved ones against him, but this employee didn’t care. His boss was a “jerk”, so he decided to ruin his life — Ars Technica has more…
