XBMC Running on the iPad - a media center on the go
If anything, this is one of the best hacks we’ve seen for the iPad. XBMC is an open source framework designed for consuming all sorts of stuff like movies, photos and music. In fact, the core technology behind XBMC is used in Boxee, and XBMC itself is available on a wide range of platforms (OS X, Linux, Windows, Apple TV, Xbox) — but now, it has ventured to the iPad. We can only anticipate the possibilities of having a full-blown media center on the go…
The Visual Guide on how to cite sources... on the INTERNET!
We’ve all done, whether we were starting our first blog or just posting an epic image on tumblr, we didn’t cite our sources. “Big whoop! is the cyber-police going to be knocking down at my door or something?” No, but as the visual guide goes on to explain, you may be responsible for killing the internet. Sony’s restraining orders and lawsuits have clearly not been enough to stop people from breaking into their system, releasing vital information, and making them lose potentially millions of dollars in pirated goods. However, there are sources close to the company that say they’re ready to implement a new anti-piracy system that’s been in the talks for years. — Details after the break!

iPhone 4.3 beta gets horrendous multi-finger gestures
Apple confirmed that the multi-finger gestures seen on the iPad’s 4.3 developer’s release was only for testing purposes only, and that they wouldn’t be seen in the final release.
Well, now the intuitive controls made for the iPad have found their way onto the iPhone, and it’s not pretty on a one-handed device.
