iPhone 3G can now use Game Center and HDR Photos

Jailbroken iPhone 3G’s have just received some brand new abilities today in the form of HDR Photos and Game Center. A recent update in Cydia has added some enablers to unlock these abilities in iOS 4.1 when using the iPhone 3G and 3GS.  It is incredibly easy to use and install, and if you haven’t jailbroken your 3G yet, Redmond Pie has an excellent tutorial. Just search “HDR/Gamecenter Enabler” in Cydia on your iPhone, and install the fix.

Amazon Kindle Receiving Scrabble

Electronic Arts just launched the new Scrabble app hitting the Kindle’s app store at $4.99, and although it’s still very far away from being a fully capable app it’s definitely a step in the right direction. The app is currently the fourth most downloaded in Amazons store, and will probably become a huge success due to it’s hitting the right market at the right time — book readers who love words. It can run on the 2nd, 3rd, and all DX models, but beyond this app I can’t think of to many other games that will hit the store due to a very niche audience who like the Kindle because it is just books to begin with. Post a comment below if you have any ideas.

Flashback - Oregon Scientific Ultrasonic Aroma Diffuser Review

Our executive editor, Ricardo Trejo, filmed this review back in March of 2010, and since everyone seems to enjoy it, we’re bringing it back to the homepage. This was discovered by Ricardo at CES 2010, and he thought it was so cool that he had to share it with us, and we’re glad he did. I came so close to buying one of these because it looked so cool… but the remote thing was a real turn off.

Fun Fact — I edited this review at 2:00 AM… on a Sunday.
