TV's hilarious version of "hacking" - Video
I remember writing HTML code (also a little CSS and Javascript) in notepad while working in a computer lab when I was in high school and a teacher approached me and asked what I was doing. I said I was simply writing code for a section of our School’s website, but without hesitation she asked me to “quit it”. Dumbfounded I asked why, and the teacher simply told me “code” was a term used by “hacker gangs” and that I should stop unless I wanted the principal involved. If I was going to be accused of hacking, at the very least I could have used the technique of the people in this video.
The FPS where you use a camera instead of a gun
The idea of a First Person Shooter is brilliant because it’s so simple. It’s a safe and low-risk Blueprint for game developers to easily add emotion, character and story to a video game. It’s the fabric of most great story driven video games on the market today, but an increasingly overwhelming amount of these titles has the player wielding a weapon, usually being a gun. Now don’t get us wrong, FPS-shooter titles are always the staple of action in the gaming world, but what if we took that exact concept, but looked at it from a different angle… so to speak?

Trying to teach someone how to upgrade a processor - Video
Maybe the most infuriating thing you will watch today is something we all experience at least a couple times a year. We are computer people, self proclaimed “geeks” if you will, and we often get shuffled off to the side and dismissed, but when there’s a problem with “The Computer” we become a hero. It’s not until people attack us that we change their
What are your thoughts on Windows 8?
It’s out in the open and it’s the hottest topic on the tech scene with both praise and dismay running wild. Windows 8 is the latest and greatest from Microsoft, and so far things are looking up, but the general conscientious is very cloudy and it’s hard to understand the simple question being asked — Is Windows 8 the greatest thing Microsoft has made, or does it suck?

Incredible Cosplay from DragonCon 2011 - Video
The next best thing to seeing great cosplay is watching a video that incredibly captures what is cosplay, and there was an overwhelming amount of awesome cosplays at DragonCon 2011. This video caught our eye in particular (not because of the obviously awesome cosplay), but because of the fact that it really serves the art justice. Awesome video, check out more of their stuff here.
Global Internet speed breakdown - Infographic
The Internet is something we use to save as much time as we waste using it. It is the holy grail of information, entertainment and a ripe platform for business, and even though it’s the biggest thing to be invented in the last 30 years, it’s younger than most companies using it. We forget how powerful the internet is. It’s a blank canvas, a free and open global network for anyone to have for themselves. It is truly a wonderful thing, but naturally the Internet has been framed a “product” we pay for, instead of the canvas it was designed to be. More people have access every day, but now that it costs money, what speed can people afford around the world? How “fast” is the Internet?

Freddie Mercury is back and the world needs to know - Video
The man who touched every music lover on the planet, kept the moustache alive and takes over front-page of Reddit everyday. We’re talking about Freddie Mercury and the voice he has engraved in our lives. The man who, long ago, drifted away much too soon but left the fire burning, waiting for somebody to find it. This is the man from QueenExtravaganza, and he has brought Freddie Mercury back into the world — plus, it’s really all in the ‘stache.
