Okay Geek goes Drifting in DiRT 3 Multiplayer - Video

So, I was a huge Dirt 2 fan and was hesitant on purchasing Dirt 3 for one reason — would it live up to Dirt 2 and what would it offer that I haven’t seen before? Well, after hovering on the “Buy now” button for a solid minute, I finally bought it. It was about an hour until I decided to dabble in the Multiplayer — I have not gotten any work done for the past 2 days.

How expensive were games in 1995?

When you walk into your local game store, or open up Steam, you can’t help but think that the prices of games have “gotten out of control”. I mean $69 for (Insert any major game release title here)? It seems nuts doesn’t it? Well, things weren’t so different 16 years ago — in-fact you’d be surprised to know that games in 1995 were much more expensive than games today…

Read our roundup of Windows 8 — So Microsoft has shown us Windows 8, and yesterday they held a press conference to show off some of the hardware partners for their latest edition of Windows. Tomb Raider Lara Craft's first adventure is full of bruises and blood, still looking as hot as ever

Being marketed as a much grittier tale than we’ve ever seen her star in, Lara doesn’t look to be in her usual confident-self… well, what with a portion of the game’s leaked script revealing that she’s going to get her leg chewed on by wolves sometime during the game. Yeah, this is definitely going to be the peek into the world of the ‘Tomb Raider’ herself that we never thought we’d see. — New trailer after the break!

Soul Calibur 5 -- A tale of swords and souls eternally retold, for the 5th time

Namco has teased us with some screenshots and tweets here and there, but we’ve finally now gotten a glimpse of what the gameplay will be like when 5th installment releases next year. Taking nods from Street Fighter 4 and its Ultra combos, SC5 looks to want to be a little bit more flashy this time around; apparently Ivy’s skimpy outfits aren’t enough to keep the attention of some. — Trailer after the break!

iCloud - $25/year and all 4 major labels signed (un-confirmed)

When word leaked from Apple that their next flagship product would be iCloud, people went nuts. Google and Amazon have already gotten a head-start on their own music hosting and streaming services, but we imagine they’re shaking in their boots right now, and we can just see Steve waiting in anticipation to deliver the bad news to Google and Amazon.

"George Lucas Strikes Back" -- [awesome, fake trailer]

Ever wonder what happened to George Lucas after his success with Star Wars and his involvement in countless Speilberg productions in the 80’s? I mean, it seemed as if he was almost a completely different person when he started the Star Wars prequels, focusing more on visuals than on the story he penned to perfection. Now, watch the fake, untold story of the greatest Hollywood conspiracy of our generation!
