Battlefield 4 Trailer: S*** just got real - Video
Well internet, freddiew is at it again and this time his viewfinder has taken him to the arid deserts where heated battle runs rampid. Everyone (including us) has already kissed freddie’s feet enough, but I mean “phenominal” is an understatement when it comes to describing this video. A solid 2 minutes of pure Battlefield bliss.
Nokia Maps with 3D buildings and trees, answer to Google Maps
Google Maps is incredible with satellite views, streetview and the clarity of the images, not to mention all the awesome tools that have been built using Google Maps. There hasn’t been another map service that offers something unique outside of what Google Maps already offers, until now. Along comes Nokia 3D Maps using WebGL to turn a flat world into one filled with 3D buildings, trees and rocks — all running inside your browser (Google chrome only for now). Maybe the greatest super hero movie of our time - Chronicle (Video)
When it comes to Super Hero movies, original ideas aren’t a plentiful commodity and the genre as a whole is riding the wave of mainstream nostalgia on a year to year basis. Completely out of left field comes a movie called “Chronicle” that tells the story of kids who get Super Powers, but what’s refreshing is it’s very real and impeccably grounded in reality. Not much is known, but whats for sure is that we’re already fans of Chronicle!
OmniTouch is Microsoft's projector based touch computer
In recent years Microsoft has been at the forefront of innovation in the tech game - you really only have to look as far as the Kinect for Xbox 360, or the overly impressive Courier to see what they’re capable of - continuing on with this trend, the Redmond based computer conglomerate has presented two very interesting touch based systems at the UI symposium, UIST 2012. The first project, OmniTouch, which in my opinion is certainly more sci-fi than its brethren, aims to turn any and all surfaces into a touch-enabled space. — More after the break!
The Future according to popular movies - Infographic
We share a lot of infographics about all sorts of topics we’re interested in, but this one in particular is a real piece of work. One of the wondrous things about Sci-Fi, “in the future” movies is wondering if one day we’ll have hover boards like Marty McFly, Robot cops or even if we’ll need to leave Earth. This infographic organizes popular films into a timeline, so now it’s much easier to let your mind wander…

Eric Speed's Maniac is Street Fighter, the 80's, and Scott Pilgrim all in one -- (Video)
What happens when you put together an electric violin, a cover of a classic 80’s song, Street Fighter dance movies, and tie it all together with Scott Pilgrim effects? You get one of the best darn music videos you’ll ever see! Mad prop’s goes to Eric Speed and his crew for replicating that Scott Pilgrim feel.
Atomic Floyd SuperDarts earphones review
We’re no stranger to high quality audio products, it’s just that it’s always been hard for us to justify expensive pricing for a barely noticeable rise in sound for the casual listening experience. We’ve tried Beats. We’ve tried Grado’s. And now we’ve moved onto Atomic Floyd. You might be saying to yourself, “who?” Well, after this review you may want to give them more than a passing glance. The SuperDarts earphones just may as well be the the Wily Wonka of audio design, introducing you to a world of sound delights. — More after the break!
