This time every year, CES hits and the entire tech blogging world goes nuts with tons of posts and liveblogs. Here at Okay Geek, we’re not going all out with CES this year but still think it’s important to select a few things we’re the most excited about at CES each day. Today marks the official start of CES so hit the break for our top picks!
Today a major milestone has been reached: the beginning of a new chapter and a fresh horizon. Twenty twelve, here we come! Clearing out the old to make room for the new. Marking a point in time and neatly filing away our triumphs, failures and memories for a rainy day so we can shed the burden of the past and hit the ground running into the new year with big ideas!
We want to thank all of our readers for sticking with us from the beginning, and all of our new friends we’ve met this year for being so awesome. We want to make sure 2012 is Okay Geek’s best year yet with more articles, the (soon to be) re-launched podcast and a slew of other fun things like E3 and more. Thanks for reading and Happy New Year!

This is the only video on the internet you should be talking about right now, because it’s the one video that shows exactly how serious the SOPA bill actually is. This isn’t another crackpot freaking out, or an extremist flying off the wall - this is a 28 year old dude that lives in the UK explaining how the people who made pizza a vegetable (aka, your government) is going to methodically destroy everything the internet stands for - this isn’t funny, and it is time for action.
SPOILER WARNING - This video contains footage leading up to the new Batman film coming next year, and the transcript details everything in the video. The video is pretty bad quality and the audio is a bit out of sync, but it’s the best the guy recording it could do, and that’s why we included the transcript. There’s not much else left to say other than it looks awesome, and we can’t wait to see the final cut on the silver screen!

Interestingly enough, Chris just happened to have celebrated his Birthday recently, so Happy Birthday from the Okay Geek team! — Just when you thought things couldn’t get any more epic.
The #OccupyWallstreet movement is still strong after weeks of continual protesting and marching in the hart of New York. The Other 99 are streaming 24/7 live video on Ustream from a mobile rig so you can be in the action, and see stuff happen as it happens. Really awesome to watch this un-fold live!
