Does that Video Game theme Sound a bit Familiar?

Everyone's heard of the (now confirmed) rumor that Michael Jackson did the soundtrack for Sonic the Hedgehog 3, but did you know that there's been more than just a couple cases of games taking popular riffs or intros from other well known musical artists?
I wasn't all that aware of the ones that 1up had found, though, I did know of the Flash Man stage in Mega Man 2 influenced by Metallica's "Seek and Destroy", and also the whole fiasco with the main theme for the Metal Gear Solid series. But I was blown away not noticing Ken's theme from Street Fighter was completely ripped off from Top Gun's "Mighty Wings" song done by Cheap Tricks. MegaMan, Sonic, and Final Fantasy seem to be the most guilty parties - but check for yourself in this eye, or in this case, ear opening article.
