Magazines of the Future are Smart and Stylish
We're in a unique position in time right now - a period where the wheel is being redesigned. Print, audio, and video mediums are finding new places to call home as we enter the truest digital age to ever come our way. It's a privilege to be in such a place where innovation is visible at every turn, with everyone having their own vision or interpretation of what the future will look like.
The most fascinating aspect of this transition is how people are experimenting with what will eventually replace the paper pages that we've known to make up books for countless of centuries. It's an understatement to say that people are a little reluctant to give up their hard covers, but at the same time the anticipation to see the next big thing is also teetering on the edge - investors just itching to throw their money at what will be eaten up by hungry consumers.
One possible outcome to this is the concept created here by Bonnier R&D of the Mag+. The following videos go into much detail at how this design came about, as well as why interactivity has a lot to do with how devices should be built and managed.

The tablets we've soon to see in the upcoming new year are full of innovation, but as this concept shows, there are a ton of more ideas out there than just the Courier and the Apple Tablet.
