App of the Week: iStudiez Pro

Wow, this app has helped me and my friends so much during college. So you might be asking what is this app? Does it help me study?

iStudiez Pro, is the only app you will ever need to manage your class times, exams, breaks, homework, safely and with ease. This app has helped me remember what classes I have and when, what homework I forgot about, and what my teachers name even is. The app is a small $2.99 on iTunes and works on both iPhone and iPod Touch.

Features:

- This app includes a fully-featured and detailed schedule planner with support for every day, every other day, every X days/weeks, and A&B weeks schedule.

- Option to add holiday breaks or cancel individual classes.

- Expandable multifunctional calendar including expanded month and week views.

- Newly integrated address book for partners and separate area to input.

- Assignments by priority, due date, or class.

- Search your classes, holidays, term classes, instructor(even add a instructor picture).

- Daily to-do list

The app's greatest benefit is it's ability to backup it's data so that it will never be lost. Newly added is it's Push Notification features that will alert you to a class or assignment before it is due according to what you specify. I have been using this app for about 6 months now and have not had any problems with it. It is constantly being updated and any bugs that occur are fixed asap. My favorite screen is the daily to-do list of classes that tells me funny stuff like "You have nothing to do, aren't you late for a party?"

The only thing that is really missing for me is adding in a quiz add on but i guess exam is fine even though I see it more as a test. Some people on iTunes have complained about it crashing but I have had minimal problems. For record i'm on a iPhone 3GS so everything should be working it's best on my system of course. I highly recommend this to high school or college students because if you use it, it would help you so much!
