CES Day "Negative 0" in a Nut Shell
So today was a day of firsts: my first time at CES, my first press event, and my first time mingling with the tech industry's finest. It was fun, but frantic to say the least. As t3chh3lp's one man army here at CES it's been a little overwhelming, but it's nothing I can't handle. The only thing that's worrying me now though is that today wasn't even the real thing.
So what did happen today then? CES Unveiled. What's that? It's a press event to get people excited over a handful of products that will be fully on dispay when the real show gets underway on Thursday. There were laptops, e-book readers, and 3D technology with hordes of nerds crowding around them to find out info like release windows and price points; It was a new thing for me, but I slowly became one of them as the night progressed.
Free food, live music, and well known industry vets had me busy the whole time. Catch my impressions on the gadgets I saw in the posts to come, and follow me as I continue my coverage from CES.
