If you are using Internet Explorer you are probably doing so for one reason or another -- you are 70 years old and just happy using AOL Mail, you are not sure if you can adjust to another browser, or you are stuck at work where everybody thinks that "IE is the most secure browser". Well, if you're using IE for any reason you are missing out. Lots of great websites are now dropping compatibility with IE including Youtube, Google apps, and Facebook.
The Fix - Chrome Frame
You may have heard of Google's new browser Chrome, and you may want to know that it is the most advanced, fastest, and most compatible browser available, but if you are in a situation where you don't want a new browser, or you just cant install one because of your situation, feel free to install "Chrome Frame".
It takes Internet Explorer, as is, and only changes the way it renders pages so you get the full experience. It doesn't change the look of IE, or the different features that you enjoy, it simply makes it so anything loaded into the browser, like a webpage will be rendered using Google Chrome's engine, so it will be faster and support all of the new stuff websites use like CSS3, HTML5, and other goodies.
Developers - Rejoice!
As for developers all you have to do is place a META tag in your <header> so when the browser loading your site is Internet Explorer, instead of rendering it using IE's engine, it uses Chrome's so everything is compatible, and your viewers will not know the difference!
Conclusion - Recomendations and Download
I recommend that all corporate businesses, schools, and other organizations that for one reason or another can't switch away from IE take advantage of Chrome Frame, because it will only use Chrome Frame when a website says to do so. All your software and whatnot will be compatible, and you will make your employees happy!
