A Great iTunes mockup for Mac OS X Lion

We all know iTunes is a pretty bloated piece of software, and that Apple hasn’t done much about that. Tobias Reich over on Dribbble has created a fantastic mockup for what iTunes on OS X Lion should look like — clean, simple and compact. There are a few issues like the lack of more complex features, and so little space limits the amount of information that can be displayed, but overall it looks fantastic!

Tobias notes that if you want to see a whole album “just click on [the album] and you will see a track list” which seems to make sense. Also, Dribbble users have mentioned that even though this version of iTunes seems a little too stripped down to replace the current design, it could function very well as te mini-player. Apple has some big plans for tomorrow, and a new iTunes design could be one of them.
