    Apple TV Runs iOS - Apps and Jailbreaking are imminent

    We all remember the Apple TV announcement early this month, and most of were shocked to see the lack of hard drive and apps. Well, as it turns out, the new Apple TV in fact runs iOS, and has the capability of running apps, the thing is we’ll have to wait until Apple blesses us with the “privilege”, or Jailbreak it.

    “So if Apple TV is running iOS now, why not announce it and invite people to start making apps for it? Wouldn’t that get everyone more excited about the relaunch of Apple TV? I could think of two reasons why they wouldn’t…” — Wired
