Create your own online store with Goodsie

Developed from the engineers of Flavors.me, Goodsie gives anyone the ability to make an online store with ease. All it takes is a few clicks, drags and some typing. And with more advanced features like product categorizing and options for third-party applications, it’s an extremely powerful tool. — More after the break!

Statistic & Product Features

Currently in beta, you can sign up and get started right away. When you first login, you’ll be presented with your store analytics and orders sold out product notifications. There isn’t too much data visible with these analytics and you are only limited to viewing the number of visitors and “actions” within two day increments. However, if you visit the “statistics” page, you’ll be presented with much more data. View the number of visits, uniques, actions, average actions, total time, average time and bounce rate. You can also view whats been searched, countries and traffic sources.

Once you’re ready to start adding products, go to the products tab. From here, you can add a product or reorder current products. When you add a new products, you can select a product type such as standard, digital, apparel, art, furniture and others. Next, add a name, price, description, SKU and quantity. You also have the option add product options. For instance, you may make furniture in differnet designs or shirts and different sizes. Finally, add a thumbnail, add a category or select a previous category and select the product status (or availability). That’s all it takes to add a product.

Design & Settings

Designing your store is simple with the WYSIWYG editor. Adjust colors, fonts, layout, and more. You can also upload a image to use as your store background. Under the store details, you can add the store name, description, favicon and more. Also, you add pages and custimize the contact and shipping page.

Under the settings tab you can select from a large number of options. You can add your own personal details, store options, and custom domain. For accepting payments, you can choose PayPal, Google Checkout or Amazon. You can also create custom “shipping and tax” rules such as option name, per-cart fees and the fee type. To add tax rates, add a country, region/state and tax percentage. There’s also the option for third-party application like api settings and google analytics settings.

Demo Video

Goodsie is currently in beta and completley free. When they come out of beta, it will cost $20/month to keep your store online. In our eyes, this is a no brainer. To visit Goodsie, learn more and get started, click here.
