Cydia App Store on your Mac - Coming Soon

As Apple announces their App Store coming to Mac OS X so does Saurik, the guy behind Cydia. TUAW has said that Saurik presented at 360|MacDev summarizing the upcoming jailbreak store for Mac OS X, Cycript, and Cydia Substrate. As Cydia continues becoming more popular on iOS devices it will be a forceful competition for Apple being on the Mac as well. There is quite a large difference between iOS and Mac OS X, and it will be interesting to see how Cydia forms into a desktop app, and it’ll also be interesting to see Apple’s lash-back against a 3rd party App Store on the Mac. Sadly details are just emerging and no one is quite sure of anything yet, but we will certainly keep you up to date.
