DaVinci gets Ported from Microsoft Surface to Xbox Kinect

Does anyone remember the Microsoft Surface table? Yeah, me neither. Well, apparently Razorfish, a marketing firm responsible for developing software for Surface, has ported a well known application known as DaVinci over to Microsoft’s latest contraption, the Xbox Kinect. What’s DaVinci you ask? If the video on the left doesn’t explain it well enough, by using mid-air gestures users can create objects and control physics, as well as interact with the environment with pulleys and levers with a simple flick of the wrist.

Where Kinect fails as a gaming device to some, it’s open source applications like this that should get everyone excited.
