    Digg's Traffic is Collapsing Worldwide

Digg’s new website has had led to a huge user backlash, causing loads of controversy and a bumpy road for the company as a whole. Although it seems that Digg has gone for the mainstream feel, it certainly has not achieved it’s mainstream status. Data collected from Hitwise shows the Digg has had a huge user decline in the US and the UK in the past short while. Based upon the charts below according to Hitwise “traffic from UK Internet users to digg has declined by 34%. In the US, which is digg’s primary market, visits have dropped by 26%.”

Clearly Digg’s users are talking with their actions and not just their comments, Reddit has shown a 2.6% increase in the UK since the time of the New Digg’s release.
