    Google Homepage gets a re-design - Leaked?

Now, we don’t know if this is for real, or if it was a glitch that allowed the user to see it before it’s official release, but if it is real, we welcome it with open arms. Our tipster @codigibalt sent us this screenshot showing a new navigation bar that seems like a small change, but it is the Google homepage, and there is nothing much to change.

Going into specifics, they have added a gradient to the nav bar, and took out those 90’s navy blue, underlined links. They have also added some nice style elements (colors above the links), and an icon! I know, I thought I would never see such thing on the Google Homepage!

Also, @codigibalt mentioned that “it’s faster now too by a little bit”, but we’re not sure if he means the site overall, or just the homepage. Overall, the new design is better, but not astounding. Considering Google refuses to add anything extra to their homepage, this is a big step and will hopefully lead to more changes in the future. These little blocks of color and the gear icon will add 4 petalops bandwidth in the next 5 minutes.
