Google looks back at everything that happened in 2010

Yahoo’s reports came in not too long ago and now Google has finally posted their yearly search reports in a very emotional way. Google (being the biggest search engine in the world) tagged billions of searches and compared them to last year’s results to find trending topics. This year’s biggest trenders included: the iPad, Justin Bieber, and Chatroulette — of all things. Facebook and Twitter also placed 8th and 10th, respectively.

Some of the past search topics that the public lost enthusiasm for were: Twilight New Moon, Susan Boyle, Myspace Layouts, and Micheal Jackson. This year’s new popular search terms include: Haiti and the iPad, which is the newest, most popular consumer gadget. I find looking through these search results to be absolutely fascinating and a great way to recall the past.
