How to fix The Dungeon Fighter "Black Box" Crash
The popular genre crossing acrade beat’em-up/MMO Dungeon Fighter by Nexon, has been experincing a major error ever since the update balancing the priest class, along with other changes, over two months ago. The problem was when you started the game client, a black box would appear on your screen, then it would disappear, and then the game wouldn’t start up. After 2 months, Nexon still hasn’t released a way to fix the problem, even though over one third of the games population is affected by the problem — Luckly for you, us here at T3ch H3lp have the fix!
Our (un-official) working fix for
NOTE: The following fix is for every version of Windows Vista and 7. For the Windows XP fix, look up how to change your language for non-unicode programs
Step One — First, click on your Windows start button, then in your search bar type in “locale”. The only thing that shows up should say “change the time, date, or number format”. Click on this link and a separate window should pop up.
Step Two — Click on the administrative tab and go to language for non-unicode programs, and change it to “English(USA)”. You’ll need to restart your computer after this.
Step Three — When your computer restarts run Dungeon fighter. The box will reappear, but click away from it, then go to your internet tab. If you keep the box open, or click on it, the game will stop working. Leave the box while the game starts up, which may take up to 5 minutes after which, the game will open.
