How to make iPad 3G run on T-Mobile

Well, somebody figured out how to use an iPad 3G on a T-Mobile $5.99/mo Data Plan - and somebody decided to show you how. A growing number of iPad 3G owners have been able to access their T-Mobile EDGE data network by cutting T-Mobile SIM cards down to the iPad’s MicroSIM size then inserting them into their device. Sounds like a Simple hack, maybe too simple, but one thing is for sure, it saves you money - Video after the break!

 

How to make iPad 3G run on T-Mobile EDGE

This is a pretty streight forward DIY - cut the SIM card, insert into iPad, but unfortunately, the iPad doesn’t support T-Mobile’s 3G band, so if you try it you’ll have to settle for 2G network speeds. That said, this guy is only paying $5.99 for T-Mobile’s EDGE data plan, instead of Apple’s $29.99 3G plan.
