How to Monitor your Mobile Data Usage

With all these changes coming to At&t’s unlimited data plans some people have gotten kind of mad. I was one of them at first. But then I checked my usage trends and realized that, “Wow, I never even get close to reaching 2GB’s of data”, as the graph above shows. I was shocked since I’m constantly watching videos or surfing the web, but then I realized that I’m 90% connected to some sort of WiFi point, which when I am doesn’t count toward the data used on At&t’s network.

So to help you monitor and keep track of every MB used, Lifehacker’s got a few tips and tricks for you to use and know.  And hey, it might help you out in the long run since you after knowing your trends you may want to decide to change to a different price tier.

And for you Android owners out there, their guide also covers Android handsets.
