"I choose you Herman Cain!" - Presidential Candidate uses Pokémon References
Presedential elections are serious business, and GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain is definatelty taking things seriously, but with a slight undertone of inspiration from Pokémon. We shared this awesome info earlier this weekend, but we really think it deserves a space on the front page — I mean, it’s not every day the essence our nerdy childhood sneaks into a presidential debate — For a hot spot in the video and more, hit the jump below (with enough speed though, we don’t want you landing short).
Hot spot in the video — 03:31 Herman says “Life can be a challenge, life can seem impossible, but it’s never easy when there’s so much on the line” from the ending credits in Pokémon the Movie 2000. Herman refers to the writer of the song, Donna Summer, as a “poet”.

Note: We’re pretty sure that Herman didn’t say these himself. but we know he was thinking it! — Also, please enjoy this fine arrangment of music while reading this (quite hilarious) comic strip thingy we found on Reddit.
