It’s become as important as food to some people, and seemingly more important to others — and what I am talking about is the cellphone. Ever since its introduction in 1973 as the worlds first “practical” handset, the cellphone has taken the world by storm and has now become a necessity if you want to live the day to day life of the average Joe. Skip forward 37 years and the chart below finally makes sense — this is how the world uses their mobile phones.
