iPad iOS 4.2 Update should be here today - Delayed again
According to a recent post we wrote 2 days ago, the iPad update should be arriving in less than 2 hours (10:00AM PDT), but due to recent events, Apple has cancelled the 4.2 update and is holding off (again) until some serious WiFi issues are fixed. Basically, even if the iPad manages to successfully connect to a local network, the connection is lost after a few minutes. It’s hard to believe that iPad iOS 4.2 was originally set to release in October.
So when will Apple release iOS 4.2? They should be releasing it in November like the promised, but it won’t be for another week or so. iTunes 10.1 has also been delayed, and will hopefully be released a few days before iOS 4.2 to ensure that everything is compatible. Here’s hoping this doesn’t get pushed until December.
