iPhone 5 coming to Sprint - Employees trying to keep quiet

We all know the iPhone 5 is coming in hot and most likely going to be announced in just weeks, but that’s us. Sprint is trying to keep those “normies” in-the-dark when it comes to Apple’s latest innovation, and trying to keep inventory moving before the big day. It’s a smart move, but you think they’d know it’d get out into the wild somehow huh? — More after the break!
Sprint’s internal note to employees
“Action required: Do not speculate about Sprint getting the iPhone — A recent Wall Street Journal article mentioned that Sprint is getting the iPhone 5. If you’re asked by a customer or just talking to friends or family members, you need to avoid making any comment about the iPhone and simply state “no comment”
So as you can clearly see, Sprint is going to be getting the iPhone come late September, early October and we’re really excited. Having a choice when it comes to carriers is something iPhone users have been unable to experience for years, and it will also allow Apple to seel many more devices, but at the same time maybe a bit more difficult to manage carrier specific needs. We’re sure Apple has them under their thumb anyways…
