Here at T3ch H3lp, we encourage individuals to express themselves - and enjoy the dialogue of others. Usually this is done through comments, and most of the time it results in petty flamewars over gaming consoles, social networks and anything else people want to pick a fight about - all in good fun of course. Dialog between rivals in the T3ch H3lp comments
The following consists of a conversation between fellow gamers, concerning a post we did about the horrible “PS3 8001050F error” back in March. The post had an animated GIF in it, which humorously illustrated the frustration people we’re having with their PS3’s, which all decided to stop working at the same time. Prepare to do some barrel scrolls…

No whats funny is the fact that u tend to over the fact that microsoft has bigger problems than sony with their YLOD. Lol thats been going on for how long? And its still happening… i dont know about u but i would rather have a system that was only malfunctioning for a short 2 day period then to have a shitbox 360 break down on me and tell me all my data is gone and to go fuk myself. Oh and by the way get ur info straight retard before u go post happy and ur tell ur buddies u got something on PS3, it has not “spread” through the entire production line u idiot…

Hmm.. I like how you point out only that one problem. I would like to hear what you think of XBL because I have owned both a PS3 and Xbox 360.. I proceeded to trade in my PS3 for ANOTHER 360 so that I could play with my brother. The only way I can think to compare the online of both is like this: You get what you pay for, the less you pay the worse it is…wait..isn’t PSN free?? Of all… 7 xboxes I’ve owned I have not encountered the RROD because I take care of my Xbox. The RROD is caused when the chips they use come lose, so it is not at all Microsoft’s fault it’s all about how long you play (playing longer creates more heat which allows metal to bend easier), how well you treat it, and how well they stay connected. I have also noticed the extremely large difference in, 1 motion control, I mean really I don’t want to use a vibrator when I can go completely controllerless, 2 the amount in exclusives, I also noticed that the long time loyal game Metal Gear Solid is moving to xbox this November.
And here is the comment we are talking about

hmm… i like how you replied 7 months later, and chose false or bullshit points to boost your argument.
i’ve also had both systems, and personally will state you’re borderline retarded for trading in a ps3 for a new xbox.
First off, you don’t always get what you pay for, like with an xbox for example. You pay a few hundred for the system, 45 for a year of online, 60 for a game, and you get a simple system with no extra features and online that is exactly the same as the free playstation network.
Playstation network is free because sony believes you shouldn’t have to pay to play your games. if you buy an xbox and don’t pay for online, you can’t even play a major part of game, like with Call of Duty, for example. Why should you have to pay 60 for Duty, then have to pay 45 more for every year you want to play it? (or 15 a month or whatever the lower payment option is). On my ps3 i can buy call of duty for 60, and play it for free online with the exact same internet that xbox has. The xbox doesn’t have some magic internet that is better, its the same internet the world has, except you have to pay for it. So congratulations on paying 45 dollars for something and getting nothing for it, you just threw away money, which most of the world frowns upon.
Second, if you’ve never had the red ring, then why the fuck have you had 7 xbox’s? You just felt like owning 7 i guess? that’f make sense since you just feel like paying 45 dollars a year for nothing…
3rd, the xbox 360 failure rate is over 50%, with more than 40% failing twice. That statistic is off of gamespot, but there was an article in game informer, which is pretty biased toward the 360. Ps3 failure rate is about 10%.
Since Microsoft makes the xbox, they control the solder used to hold the chip down, which is why the red ring happens. The red ring is from the solder remelting and the chip coming loose. Microsoft is directly responsible for the manufacturing of the xbox and the red ring.
You shouldn’t pay a few hundred dollars for a system and then not be able to play for more than a few hours a day.
The xbox kinect doesn’t look that great at all. Initially, i though the idea was better than the playstation move, but after E3, i realize how much i was mistaken. The games they demoed for xbox kinect were so stupid, i actually laughed. I don’t really think playstaion move is all that great either, but its definitely better than kinect.
You may notice that there are more exclusives on the xbox, but the amount of good exclusives on both systems are practically the same, but its pretty much opinion based. Xbox has Halo, which are mediocre at best, Gears of War, which are awesome, Fable, which i loved, and many other exclusives not really worth mentioning. PS3 has some Final Fantasy games, which i don’t like, but many people love, God of War 3, which is amazing, Heavy Rain, which was very neat and set a different pace from most games, Killzone 2, which is amazing graphically and gameplay wise, and the upcoming Killzone 3 (which will be in 3d). Some other worth mentioning are The Last guardian, MAG, Little Big Planet, Metal Gear 4, The Resistance series, The Uncharted Series, and Warhawk. So actually, i recant my previous statement, and will say that i think the ps3 has better exclusives.
I mean, look at games like MAG. Mag has 256 players online, which is way more than the xbox can handle. I believe if you tally up exclusives on ign that got 10’s as their rating, then the ps3 has more exclusives that scored 10’s.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions on games, and i believe that the ps3 has better exclusives. But, i think that the best games come out on both systems anyway.
And to destroy your final point, the fact that metal gear will come out on the xbox is simply irrelevant. It only coming out on xbox because Microsoft has enough money to buy any game they want. But if you play metal gear solid 4, it states a few times throughout the actual game that the xbox couldn’t handle it, which is hilarious. I’m serious, in the game at one point a character, i believe otacon, points out that if the game were on the xbox, you’d have to change discs, but the ps3 is so great that you don’t have to because it plays blu-ray.
Which brings up the next point, blu-ray. I don’t even need to elaborate on this one. The ps3 has blu-ray, and the xbox doesn’t. It makes games able to have more data, and obviously gives the ps3 the ability to play blu-ray dvds.
Overall, you get much, much more out of a Ps3 for cheaper. If you have any intelligence whatsoever, you will realize that anyone who likes the xbox, only likes it out of opinion, and they can not factually state that it is better by any means. If you want to think the xbox is great, then thats fine, but don’t try and state that it’s better then the ps3, because you come off as stupid.
If you have a good valid point, the please post it, but do your research first and make sure it’s true, and valid fact, not opinion on games..
