Introducing our latest creation, Podcast Episode 4. This week we talk ramble aimlessly about different topics that have popped up in the tech industry, as well as stories that matter to us as geeks. As always, this episode is staffed by our amazing T3ch H3lp editors and hosted by Brandon Davenport, but there’s also a new addition to the team @obligedcarton (Connor Scalleat) who is pumping out articles like crazy, and is now part of the podcasting team.
We start off delving into some gadget news with Jason Tsay and learn more about a crazy new photography convention happening in Germany. Then we move onto talking about a new flippy/tablet/laptop thing from Dell, and why it is (or isn’t) better than the iPad.
After that, we indulge into the Canada/Netflix controversy that sprung up on Wednesday, and why Nick is having major problems with the Square payment app/system for iPhone. After that, we introduce a new segment where we plug some stuff we like, and tell you a bit about it (we call it “Un-necessary Plugs”) — And after that we close out the show and start planning for next week!
Stuff we talked about
- Photokina photo imaging convention
- Netflix Streaming in Canada is here for $7.99
- Netflix in Canada is a fail — apparently
- Leo Laporte sucking the mic
- Squarespace Pricing upgrades
- Justin Bieber Twitter revenge
