Razer Rolls Out Starcraft II Themed Peripherals
Razer has teamed up with Blizzard Entertainment - to produce a suite of gaming peripherals to commemorate the launch of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. The new lineup includes Spectre gaming mouse, the Marauder gaming keyboard and the Banshee gaming headset. What’s special about these peripherals is that they come armed with “APM (Actions-Per-Minute) Lighting Systems” which provide the gamer with feedback on performance.
Each peripheral is styled based on the StarCraft world and is focused around tournament portability. The Spectre is a 5600 dpi 5 button gaming mouse priced at $79.99 when it goes on sale in Q3 2010. The Marauder is a compact “tournament-ready” keyboard with elevated keys and illumination much like that of an Alienware gaming laptop. It will set you back $119.99 at launch. Lastly, the Razer Banshee is a square circumaural headset with LEDs and 50 mm drivers designed much like the Chimaera Xbox 360 headset shown at CES. It costs the same as the keyboard ($119.99).
