Rumor - Is this the NGP's launch line up?

Let’s face it, Nintendo’s 3DS had one of the weakest launch line up’s to date. I mean, Super Street Fighter 4: 3D was the main attraction, seriously? The gamer’s first iteration came out two years ago and now they want to throw a 3D effect in there to kickstart the new handheld? Give me a break! Well, Sony doesn’t seem to be taking any chances, throwing everything its got right out of the gate for their upcoming NGP release.

According to Spanish website Nicagamerz, and their “reliable source”, the site’s gotten advanced foresight into what early NGP players will be running on their new Sony handheld come winter this year.

Nicagamerz.com:

“Thanks to a reliable source who works for NICAGAMERZ SCEJ (Sony Computer Entertainment Japan) has sent us a list of titles confirmed by studies of SONY 1st Party that will be available when it is officially released NGP/PSP2:

  • Uncharted (temporary name)
  • ModNation Racers (temporary name)
  • As Smart
  • Wipeout 2048
  • Little Deviants
  • Next Hot Shots Golf

This list of games will be announced officially at E3 2011, which revealed the full names of the games.”

If this list is true, which it probably is seeing as Sony wants to hit the ground floor running since undoubtedly the 3DS will have picked up pace by then with releases of Ocarina of Time, Kid Icarus, and a new Super Mario Bros. leading the pack we’re sure.

We’re also hearing that UK site Jolt.co has the same reputable “retail source”, which makes me wonder: “where do this small time blogs get all these insider sources anywho?”
