The 10 Best Shots From Dribbble - Summer 2010
Have you ever Dribbbled before? If not, you are missing out and you should ask for an invite - I love Dribbble to death, and I have not met anyone that dislikes it. Dribbble is a great way to “leak stuff out” and share some of your most secret projects.
Dribbble is a new innovative way for designers, artists and developers to share the stuff they are working on, and get some really useful feedback. You make these things called “shots”, which are 400 x 300 pixel screen grabs of what you are working on. Since there have been over 4 billion pixles uploaded, there is a lot of really cool shots to look at. I have done some searching, and found the 10 best shots from Dribbble in Summer 2010.

Road Rash II
By: Chris Wallace
“Growing up, I wasn’t as rich as some folks and didn’t have a Nintendo or Super Nintendo. However, my dad had an Intellivision and eventually we got a Sega Genesis and quickly fell in love with knocking people off motorcycles with clubs and chains in Road Rash and Road Rash II.”
Kamil’s iOS4 icon
By: Kamil Khadeyev
“Just practicing in iOS icon design.
Damn, now if you put CD into your icon, everyone will associate it with another redesign of iTunes icon :(
But, it’s just CD in liquid substance, nothing more! :)”
Scott Pilgrim vs a Double Rainbow
By: Brandon Davenport
“I made this shot for our new Podcast episode, and I wanted to know if it is really as cool as I hope it is. Tried my best to crop Scott out of the poster and add layers of mountains, color correction and an HDR feel (duplicated scott, and undersaturated/oversaturated along with brightness).”

Tweet Flower
By: Andy Wise
“From my tweetflower.com site. Always a work in progress. :)”
Just a note about Tweet Flower, it is pretty cool but if you don’t have a new-age browser along with a pretty fast PC or Mac, it will be a bit choppy. Nonetheless, this is an amazing use of Twitter API’s and really mesmerizing to watch…
Cassette Tape
By: John Williams
“I’ve been seeing all these retro media shots by Rogie and others, but no cassette tape yet. Made with love from scratch. Any feedback would be great!”
Dribbblr app promo video
By: Robin Raszka
“I’m working on a promo video for the launch of #Dribbblr. It should come out next week! Watch out!”
Just a note about the Dribbblr app — it is going to be ah-mazing! It’s a custom app designed by TapMates, and should be arriving in the app store pretty soon — Check it out here!
Icons
By: Eddie Wilson
“Working on a set of icons for a revision control system and was hoping to get some critique… 1) let me know your thoughts on the icons, and 2) The status icon needs to have 2 states, when the working copy is clean and when it’s dirty. The warning sign I have is too global, need something more specific.”
