Social Networks are one of those things that rarely survive for more than 3-4 years, and the ruthless struggle for light squishes most before they even get out of beta. When you look at the current selection of Social Networks, they are networks that have been around for quite a while and are quickly reaching a saturation point. Some are thriving and some are bleeding out but one thing is for sure — room is being cleared for (hopefully) innovative new social networks.
