The new Apple TV only supports 720p video?

Unlike most people, I myself own an Apple TV at my home and I love it. I store all my movies and music on my iMac and then watch all the movies I want on my TV thanks to Apple TV. I was so excited to see the latest update because it was small, a good price, and finally had Netflix. As I was strolling through the tech specs though, I found that it clearly states up to 720p and nothing about 1080p!

Though you won’t notice much difference on a smaller HDTV, a big 40+ inch TV will show a drastic difference between 720p and 1080p, and when you bring in a lower bit-rate for optimized video streaming into the equation, we could eventually see a big difference in quality compared to the old Apple TV. It’s just something I thought I would bring to your attention, and I think I may check the specs on my current Apple TV tonight…
