iPhone 4 Hardware Specs

The new iPhone 4 is shaping up to be the most feature packed smartphone around - with two cameras, a very pixel-saturated, 3.5” 960x640 Retina screen, an A4 proccessor and HD video recording (just to start with!) it’s even starting to bring more surprises on the official iPhone 4 Apple website.

We have scraped through the Live blogs, and have built you a readable, simple and streight forward specs chart for the iPhone 4.

Apple launches the Official iPhone 4 Website

At 3:00PM EDT, Apple publicly launched the iPhone 4 website - and its pretty badass. It features lots of info about the iPhone 4, and has a much different layout than the previous iPhone 3GS page. Instead of featuring the device on a white/grey background, they went with a black and dark theme (I’m guessing more futuristic?) The new “apps for iPhone page” is a bit more cluttered, and they also have a new photo gallery, (dark themed as well).

Video Chat For The iPhone

Video Chat For The iPhone

We all knew it was coming but Jobs made it official. Of course Jobs picked a strange name to call it, FaceTime. Why not just call it iChat like it is on the Mac?

As of right now it’s Wi-Fi only and you can chat in Portrait and Landscape. It is also only iPhone to iPhone and it has to be the new iPhone 4.

Hopefully Skype later.

iBooks comes to iPhone and iPod touch

iBooks comes to iPhone and iPod touch

“The same controls, the same highlighting, the same bookmarking, the same PDF reading. If you get a PDF in Mail, tap on that and you’ll go right to iBooks. And, of course, the iBook Store right on your iPhone. We’ll have it on the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. This gets interesting.” - Steve Jobs

This exciting news was announced by Steve Jobs at WWDC 2010. Are you looking forward to reading books on your iPhone 4?

Find out if you're eligible for an iPhone upgrade or not

So Steve Jobs has finished up filling us in as to what all the newest iPhone’s doo-hickeys and doo-dats can do, and now you’re trying to figure out in your mind when’s the soonest you’ll be able to get your little impatient hands on it.

As an AT&T customers it usually takes 18 months to get the chance to upgrade to a new phone and have access to special upgrade rates, provided you renew your 2 year contract.

So how do you find out? Well, you could call AT&T, OR you could dial a shortcut number and know within 30 seconds. Hey, we’re aware you’re time is valuable, plus we know you’re impatient!

GeekSugar tipped us off earlier that if you call *639# you’ll receive an immediate answer on whether you qualify for an upgrade or not. If you are eligible then you’ll be told that you can renew your contract for 2 years along with a note that the $18 upgrade fee will be waived or not, dependent on how close you are to the 18 month upgrade period.

Update - We’re almost to the Digg Homepage for the first time! H3lp us out! ;D
