Xbox 360 Slim inside a $17,000 Gaming PC - it's the Big O
Okay, imagine a super beefed up gaming desktop. It’s pretty beast for gaming already right? But you have a bit more cash to blow and you miss playing CoD with your pals over Xbox Live on Microsoft’s gaming console in your living room. So instead of just walking over there, you decide to throw $16,999 on the table and ask Origin PC to build you a custom Big O desktop. That is a dream we all have at one point but seriously, this computer is pretty damn sick!
Now, Origin PC is actually a group of guys from the original Alienware team who decided Dell was cramping up their style and started a new company based on the roots of the martian brand. Known for making totally awesome dangerously insane gaming computers, they have introduced the Big O today: liquid cooled Xbox 360 (the new skinny one) and a turbocharged desktop, also liquid cooled. Just how powerful is this megacomputer? Well, the base configuration uses a Intel Core i7 930 up’ed to 4.0GHz and 6GB of Corsair Dominator 1600Mhz RAM. Graphics? SLI Nvidia GTX 480 also liquid cooled. All this, and a couple of SSD’s will run you $7669 but if you’re really rich, you might want to spring for a CPU Magazine Edition running a Dual Intel Xeon X5680 overclocked to 4.3GHz, 12GB Corsair GT 2000Mhz RAM, and a Quad SLI EVGA GTX 480 FTW. Still not impressed? Check out the full specs at Origin PC’s site! Hold on to your office chair…
