    Youtube is removing its upload time limits

    For years, Youtubers have been limited to 10 minutes of video when it comes to uploading their creations. After the user revolts, Youtube increased the upload time to 15 minutes, and longer videos emerged, and the people were happy. Well now things are starting to look up, and Youtube is planning to remove its upload time restrictions.

    Youtube mentioned that they will “begin allowing selected users with a history of complying with the YouTube Community Guidelines and our copyright rules to upload videos that are longer than 15 minutes.” which seems pretty vague, but essentially they are rolling this out slowly. Some Youtube partners have been able to upload longer videos for quite a while, but this is the first time all users will be able to upload a video with any length — say goodbye to “Part 1’s” and “Part 2’s” finally!
