Vaio L Series with touch screen [video] - Perfect for Rockin' Moms

It seems everyone is coming out with a tablet -- EVERYBODY! And why? -- We don't know, but we do know that this think looks kinda awesome!

The new Sony Vaio L series Equipped with a 24-inch (diagonal) WUXGA (1920x1080) widescreen panel, the unit displays high-definition content in Full HD resolution. This magnificent screen is touch sensitive and also is able to playback full 1080p Bluray movies for your viewing pleasure.

Video after the break!

The L Series is the ultimate multi-media hub— it’s your PC, HDTV, Blu-ray player and DVR in one compact, stylish device, and with cutting-edge features such as multi-touch, its ideal for media lovers who appreciate HD performance and cutting-edge technology.

Puneet Jain | Sony Canada

We are just wondering, why is everyone wanting to enter the tablet market, we thought it was dead? Apperently not -- Apple's Tablet, Microsofts Currier, TechCrunch's Tablet and they keep coming -- is this a bad thing? :D

But anyways, this thing is meant to serve as both an HDTV and a PC, featuring an HDMI inport where you can plug in your PS3. It has a 500GB drive for your apps and for DVR recordings through Windows 7 Premium, packs a Blu-ray writer, a Core 2 Duo processor, and "loads of RAM."
