iPhone and Windows 7 don't work - Intel's P55 chipset Incompatibly
Windows 7 has been a huge success, and why should anything screw it up? Especially for Mac guys, who thought they'd give Win 7 a try. Well, now your iPhone does not work with Windows 7. You'd think these should work together because everyone has an iPhone, and everyone soon will have Win 7. It appears to be issues with Intel's P55 Express chipset's USB controller. For the past while, complaints from users have been clogging a thread on Apple's discussion board.
In most cases - iTunes 9 for Windows will recognize the iPhone, but when a sync is attempted, users are greeted with a cryptic "error 0xE8000065" - an iPhone-connection failure notification. What have you experienced?
