There has been constant noise on which smartphone is the best, and most people are tired of it, or they are just confused beyond repair. The true thing that makes a smartphone good is not just the hardware, but the thing that connects it to the world, your carrier.
All of the phones have specific pros and cons based, again, not upon the phone itself, but lots of the issues lie on the carriers -- AT&T's poor 3G performance, Verizons huge early termination fee -- and also lots of the good stuff is because of the carriers; price drops because of competition, and good service. But what it all boils down to is the fact that there are only a handful of "good" phones on each carrier. Gizmodo took the time to sift through the good, bad, and the ugly to bring you a list of what phones are the best.
