It is now 2012 all over the world!

Today a major milestone has been reached: the beginning of a new chapter and a fresh horizon. Twenty twelve, here we come! Clearing out the old to make room for the new. Marking a point in time and neatly filing away our triumphs, failures and memories for a rainy day so we can shed the burden of the past and hit the ground running into the new year with big ideas!

We want to thank all of our readers for sticking with us from the beginning, and all of our new friends we’ve met this year for being so awesome. We want to make sure 2012 is Okay Geek’s best year yet with more articles, the (soon to be) re-launched podcast and a slew of other fun things like E3 and more. Thanks for reading and Happy New Year!

This is the new Okay Geek

We’d like to welcome you to the best thing we’ve ever created. We’ve been working on this for months in secrecy and we were at one point on schedule to make an official release on Friday, but we had to rush things a tad. Due to un-forseen failures on the internet, we needed to push an early release before the duct-tape peeled off the old site. We’d like to take this time to answer any questions you have and get you in the loop…

New Okay Geek - The blog we've always wanted (Announcement)

Three years ago I started a new blog, and for months I had absolutely no clue what I was doing. There was no sense of it going anywhere because it was basically me rambling on (incoherently) about technology, all by myself. Quite literally, it may have been the worst technology blog on the internet and knowing that I was just going to throw in the towel, but not a moment too soon I noticed something important. All of the worlds most loved blogs and publications all have one thing in common, and that’s a team. I didn’t see myself as a leader and I had no concept of running a 10 person team. I also didn’t know we’d be here together, 3 years later, with something this amazing to show everyone.

We're changing our name to "Okay Geek"!

In 2 years, we have generated 10 million views, partnered with 10 amazing editors (along with dozens of contributers) and we’ve decided to take the next step. 2 years with the damn 3’s in our name is enough!
