Tech and Fitness - 2 NEW APPS

Hey,...Matt Bradbury here from www.trainmefit.com.

I'm Brandoon's brother - I'm going to be doing some guest blog posts over here at T3chH3lp.com (great site by the way!).

I watch people everyday struggle with healthy lifestyle choices. Lately I’ve been using two really neat apps which I’ve found useful and motivating. Download these if you’re looking to challenge yourself!

App #1

I’ve never been one to run for more than 30 minutes, but lately I have been! This app tracks exactly where you’re going and the distance you’ve run. It also shows your current speed, average speed, and it times your run! It even stores your running log online at mapmyrun.com. It’s a FREE APP (iMapMyRun) check it out.

App #2

This second app has been a lifesaver. It’s called ‘Intervals’. It lets you set up times for the warm-up, high intensity phase, low-intensity phase, rest phase, cool-down phase, and the number of intervals. You can even use it while you listen to your music on the iPhone. I’ve used this app to keep my own interval training runs on track and I’ve also used it during my TrainMeFit Bootcamp workouts. Any fitness trainer looking to focus more on clients vs. his stopwatch should get this app. This app does however cost $2.00 – (it’s always better when they’re free J ).

I’m off for a dog walk with Sullee,

Stay Healthy,

Matt
