PS3 sales are now up 300% since PS3 Slim came along

We all knew the 360, and Wii were far superior to the PS3, not because they were better consoles, but because they were smaller, cheaper and had more connectivity with friends. Well, now the PS3 throws back the 1-2 punch right to the gut of the gaming industry [...]

 

 

On September 1st, the new 120GB PlayStation 3 hit retail stores, at a really slick price point of $299. Our top retailers have reported a 300% lift in PS3 hardware sales and an increase of 140% in total hardware revenue across the PlayStation portfolio when comparing the first week of September to the week before the $299 price adjustment.

We dont know yet, but the PS3 could soon be, the biggest gaming console ever.
